ABOUT
Accurate Growth's Owner and Operator, Regan McCorquindale was born and raised on a dairy farm in Te Awamutu. Attending a local primary school, studying at Te Awamutu College and then realising his passion for the agriculture industry decided to enrol in a Bachelor of Agri-commerce at Massey University in Palmerston North.
Three years later Regan realised the potential benefits of offering a pasture measuring service to farmers to ensure they are getting the most out of their pasture. As pasture is the cheapest source of feed available to New Zealand farmers we are here to provided quantitative information to ensure they are reaping the benefits of whats grown right in front of them.

FARM EXAMPLE
Each and every farm using Accurate Growth will be provided with a satellite map and a version of their farm map as shown above. There will be a one off mapping fee of $0.50/ha to allow the software to be set up.
The above table gives farmers the opportunity to identify paddocks in descending order from highest kgDM/ha to lowest. The available feed column is determined from your preset pre and post grazing targets.
From the second visit onwards you will be provided with individual paddock growth rates along with whole farm average growth rates on a /kgDM/ha/day basis. This is perfect for forecasting paddock covers between visits as different areas of your farm have different corresponding rates.
The Feedwedge is a good example of tracking your pasture covers to ensure they are reaching their target prior to grazing. The red line can be set at your ideal target. This will allow you to realise potential feed surplus and deficits before they occur to increasing your grazing utilisation and management practices.
